Ron's passion is, and has always been, the sea in all its moods and the craft that have travelled upon it. Research into Australia's maritime heritage has led to an interest in the myriad flags flown by ships, and also the many tugs that have worked so valiantly in our harbours. Over the years, Jim has studied the landscape with its many varieties of colour and has developed his own distinctive painting style using the palette knife.
Jim's impressionistic, modern, traditional paintings encapsulate the colours of Australia and reflect his great love for the land, sea and waterways.
Jim loves travelling and exploring this wonderful country in search of inspiration and new subjects to paint. He has been especially influenced by Arthur Streeton's work.
Born in Venice, John Biasetto left Italy in 1950 to migrate to Australia where he developed a great love for his new country. Working in oils John paints river, bay and landscape scenes using his distinctive brushstrokes to transform empty canvas into beautiful works of art.
