Phil painted part of the Mona Lisa painting. An excellent effort in less than 1.5 hours. Obviously more to be done at home. I don't think I'd be game to attempt it in that short time.
He gave us a lot of information about the painting itself e.g. why she has no eyebrows, and Leonard Da Vinci.
He painted on board primed with PVA glue which was a bit unusual.
That's a fair dinkum copy that can be seen in the picture, that he had done previously. He said he had painted it 8 or 9 times!
